You must be at least 18 years of age and have a good understanding and knowledge of the English language.
While human body education isn't required, we recommend the following course if you are new to the industry:
Enjoy a self-paced, online course and ongoing support from our team to help you gain confidence through each module and finish ready to take on clients.
Classes will be conducted through online learning along with practical training. Homework will be required for this class, and practise quota to be completed to earn your certificate.
A student kit containing all foot care required for treatments will be provided and is included in the course fee.
A list of items recommended for students to have to facilitate their practical foot and toenail treatments at home will be provided at time of registration.
Your Learning Journey: Online Theory to Practical Assessment
Step 1: Online Learning & Written Exam Begin with self-paced online theory and instructional videos to build your knowledge and understanding. All required online coursework and the final written exam can be completed before attending your scheduled in-person hands-on training or after.
Step 2: In-Person Hands-On Training Your in-person training date(s) are scheduled at the time of enrollment. During this practical training, you'll develop and refine your techniques with guidance and support from your instructor. Students are to provide models
Step 3: Practical Quotas, Evaluation & Feedback Following your in-person training, you'll complete the required practical treatment quotas and submit recorded treatment videos for evaluation. Your instructor will provide feedback to help you refine your skills, build confidence, and meet the course requirements.
Step 4: Final Practical Assessment Once your required quotas have been completed and evaluated, you'll submit your final practical assessment to demonstrate your competency and application of the techniques learned.
Final exam date is scheduled for when you have completed all your modules. The written exam requires a minimum 85% passing grade, in conjunction with a minimum grade of 85% on a practical exam.
Students do require three models for the practical portion. We recommend arranging your model at the time of enrollment. If needed, your instructor can provide in-person models for you at an additional cost of $25/model.
When recording the practical portions, have a phone, laptop, or computer webcam to film the entire service. Detailed instructions will be provided upon enrollment.
